STOP. THINKING. ABOUT. STARTING
START BUILDING
SCROLL
You’ve thought about starting a business for a while. You know you want to build something of your own—you just haven’t been able to turn that ambition into action.
For most aspiring business owners, the same three things keep getting in the way:
GUESSING
What business should I actually start?
ANXIETY
What if I choose wrong, waste money, or fail?
PARALYSIS
So I keep thinking instead of moving.
The Business Design Workshop is built to close that gap.
The G A P
G - UESSING
A - NXIETY
P - ARALYSIS
The Business Design Workshop closes the gap between wanting to start a business and knowing what to build.
In one five-hour working session, you'll move through three iterations of your business—exploring different opportunities, testing them against real business fundamentals, and improving them through guided work and live critique.
EXPLORE
Generate possibilities and look beyond your first idea. Explore businesses that fit your skills, experience, resources, and opportunities.
CHALLENGE
Pressure-test the options and work through customer, problem, niche, offer, economics, acquisition, and fit. Present your thinking and get challenged.
RESOLVE
Choose what moves forward and develop the strongest direction and leave with a Business Direction Brief defining the business you're ready to take into the market.
Our Bridge
“You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.
You could work through a business idea alone. Here, you get 14 other perspectives working beside you.
BUILD TOGETHER
Work alongside a small cohort developing their own businesses—not another room of passive students.
GET CHALLENGED
Put your ideas in front of the room. Hear the questions, weaknesses, and opportunities you couldn't see yourself.
LEARN FROM EVERY BUSINESS
Every presentation and critique becomes another case study you can apply to your own.
ITERATE IN REALTIME
Take the feedback back to your workspace, make it better, and put the next version back in front of the room.
The Studio Advantage
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
— Proverbs 27:17
You won’t leave with another notebook full of business ideas. You’ll leave with a business direction you’ve explored, challenged, and chosen to take forward instead, you will have:
A BUSINESS WORTH PURSUING
Move beyond “I want to start something” with a specific business direction you’ve explored, challenged, and chosen over the alternatives.
CONFIDENCE IN THE DECISION
Know why you chose this direction—not because it was your first idea, but because you compared opportunities and put your thinking through critique.
A CLEAR STARTING POINT
Know what needs to happen next, what still needs to be proven, and where to focus first—without wasting months building things that don’t matter.
